It was indeed a wall breaks that were placed to create a full gable wall during the initial roof build.

Moved/eliminated the breaks, and window placement went smoothly.

And yes, one of the roof planes needed clean up. Done now.

I am attempting to place a window in a wall underneath the roof plane baseline of a cross gable roof.

The tool seems understands that there needs to be a structural support at this point in the wall, and will not allow me to place the window in that location.

The reality is that this cross gable will likely be over framed above the main gable, so wall support structure in this location will not be critical.

I have tried using the command key override (mac) for placement, but no success.

Is there any way to override chief's respect of the wall structure and place the window in this location?
