Are you on the correct floor? Sounds like you might be on the attic floor looking for a doorway on the floor below? Wild guess.

I am on the correct floor, the view changed when I changed the wall below the roof line to an inside wall in options.  I went back and changed the wall back to its original and the doorway appeared again without the wall running through it. Thank you.

Just modified an exterior wall to show the wall below the roof line as an interior 6.  When doing so, the door in that wall is shown in the plan view as a door but the wall is continuous through the opening.  Is there a way to display as a typical door location without the wall going through the opening?  In elevation the door is shown correctly.

I'm new to X6 having come from A4 and noticed that the cursor has a icon tag beside it which changes from time to time and I'm unfamiliar with why it's there and how to change it.  Currently my cursor is showing a connect walls icon tagged to it.  I cannot seem to change it and am wondering why it's there.  It appears to be affecting the performance of other tasks, perhaps because it wants me to search and connect walls.  Can anyone help me with this?
