I have put myself in a bit of a situation and it turns out I do not currently have the skill set to complete the home plan which is due by Sunday evening as we have to go to permit office Monday.
Requirements -
1. Assistance configuring foundation for an all cinder block house.
2. I need to change a few framing members to match construction (one example wouldd be the the need to change the supporting beam from a single timber 10 inches wide to three (3) 2x10x16 with 1/2 inch OSB.)
3. Need to add an addition which can connect to the existing structure without screwing up the existing foundation (see #1)
I already have a plan which has been approved by the client, but I'll need someone to check my configuration to ensure I am ready to send the resulting info to the permit office. I only need structural drawings now but if I find someone reliable and reasonable, I'll be back in touch to configure the electrical and plumbing plans for those permits.
I understand this is not a cheap service, but please provide your lowest rate for this project. I sort of stepped on my own foot saying I could complete this project so this expense has to come from my personal pocket (pretty small these days!)
