Gaps in my ceilings/walls when I use room dividers

I am using it to make a tray ceiling and change different ceiling heights. I didn't know about the tray ceiling option. I tried it and the same holes appeared. No sure why this keeps happening. -
I am working on a project with many different ceiling heights. Im using room dividers and cant figure out why there are holes. My invisible wall layer doesn't make it any better. I am on a mac and wonder if that the issue. Has anyone been able to fix this issue in the past?
