The auto dormer feature worked great when my plan called for rafters, but when I switched to trusses it didn't play so well. The current plan calls for parallel chord trusses. There is a vaulted* ceiling toward the front of the cabin and a loft over the back half with an 17' wide shed dormer. The dormer should meet the 8' ft ceiling of the loft. Any tips on how to use auto dormer with trusses? The dormer location is included in working plan view if anyone wants to dig in. Also, Chief did some pretty wonky framing of the entryway. Any ideas about how to clean that up would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any advice. * semi vaulted. How do I turn on dimension lines in my Wall Detail view? Not only do they not appear, some of the dimension tools aren't even available (E.g. Interior Dimension, Baseline). Thanks

Thanks Garybills - switching back to rafters did it. Next question - I did something to my gable walls and they are now appearing as dashed lines on my second floor. Any ideas?

The Raise/lower roof planes option is disabled for my project. The Roof Planes display setting is unlocked, along with all other roof layer related settings. How do I enable that? Thanks for any feedback
