  1. Thanks DB, I ended up just drawing the profile. But this is way better! Thanks
  2. I need a profile view of a custom cabinet door for a shop drawing to show the sticking, like the door was cut in half. Probably in a 2d view capable of being dimensioned and sent to layout page. Is this a possibility? I saw an older post with a video that may be the answer, but the video is no longer available. I'm on X15
  3. Thanks DBCooper. It is definitely funky, haven't encountered that before. I only need it for shop drawings on this one, so I may just spin the leg for the side elevation and call it good. (The 1/4" taper is imo an unnecessary corner detail on this thing anyway... )
  4. So far, I've made the solid and shaped from one side, but when I try to do the other side with the same profile, I run into the issue where I cannot adjust the solid. If I convert to symbol with only adjusting from one axis, will I be able to mirror that adjustment on the other 2 sides?
  5. I am making a tapered leg for an island, and can only adjust front face. I've made a 3D solid and shaped it from the front elevation view. When I switch to an elevation from a side view, the leg, still square, is now divided into three parts that I cannot adjust. I can select each of the three parts from the side elevation; top, thin middle where the line is curved, and the long tapered leg bottom. However, I cannot place any line breaks for adjustments. Is there a fix for this? Or should I scrap and try a better method to make the leg? I'm using X15
  6. Great info, shrunk those suckers down and cleaned up shop drawings. Thanks all
  7. Great info. I appreciate it. All of the points on that image are Point to Point. What might cause some to leave the Markers and others not?
  8. When I am pulling dimensions, there are crosshairs being left behind sporadically. Doesn't happen all the time and I can't figure out what causes them or how to get rid of them. I'm assuming they are some kind of point marker, left from manual dimensions, but when I go to CAD/Points/Delete Temp Points, they aren't going away. I'm on X15, is there a setting or easy fix for this?
