  1. Using the dutch gable wall helped tremendously! Here is what it came out like. I have that dutch gable wall set to a 6/12 pitch and the rest of the porch roof set as 8/12 pitch to match the roof of the house. The garage is a 5/12 as client wants it to tie in lower than the house. One other thing I see now is the roofline changes - it adds in that extra valley. I have a before the porch picture and after adding porch roof. Does CA always build it the best way or is there a way I can keep my simpler roof lines like the before adding the porch roof picture? I do appreciate your help!
  2. What the best file type to attach? What I was trying before was too big. I don't have it labeled as a porch at the moment so the porch layout could be seen. This is what it looks like when I specify as a porch and auto build roofs. I have the main front house wall set as gable, but when I autobuild the porch roof, this is how it builds it.
  3. I'm a fairly new user to Chief and need help with creating a roof line for a wrap around porch. I think I created the porch correctly using the railing tool and porch to beam. Autobuild roofs is not building it correctly no matter what I've tried so far and I'm sure it's user error somewhere. Attached is the file and the inspiration photo for how the client wants the porch roof to connect. Looking for help or someone who can accomplish this for me so. The bump out section of the porch will actually have retractable screens. I'm using X16. If I need more details or anything else please let me know. TIA!
