Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how to do horizontal material sections on exterior walls. If you look at the screenshot... you'll see I have three different materials (vertically) on the wall. Decorative block, wood panel, and white course brick. I did the vertical sections by adding wall breaks.
I'd like to be able to do the same thing for horizontal sections of a wall. If you notice on the screenshot I put two red squares... Is there a method I can use to assign different materials to those sections?
The only thing I've found referencing horizontal materials is using the "exterior room".... but that would put a band or stripe all the way around I think?
The only way I can think of to do it (short of making complex custom materials) is to use thin polyline solids and then assign the materials to those.
Is there a normal way to do this (like there is to do the vertical wall sections)?
