  1. Is there a way to set defaults for the actual program? I know how to set defaults for individual drawings (mainly focused on dimension and font). But when you open a "New Plan" is there a way to set the program defaults so that you don't have to change them on every drawing?
  2. Thanks Chopsaw - I'll post in the Genera Q & A Section next time. The link was helpful. I was able to get the tile size to render properly, now just need to figure out how to get the pattern to render the right way. It's still showing up as a straight lay pattern instead of a brick pattern. Elliott
  3. Let me start by saying I'm a Chief "newbie" and hope this is the right place for this question. I'm having trouble getting the desired tile pattern to render properly. When in vector view, the pattern is correct. When in standard view or when rendering, the tile pattern is incorrect. Correct Tile Pattern Wrong Tile Pattern The desired pattern is a 12" x 24" tile with a "running bond" or "brick" pattern. Hopefully something simple I'm doing incorrectly, but it's driving me crazy! Any help would be appreciated! Elliott
  4. Over the Mountain award winning residential remodeling firm looking for a designer / draftsperson with experience with the latest versions of Chief. Once design agreements have been executed by clients, you will travel to the jobsite with me or by yourself to meet with the clients and measure for the "as-builts." We'll then put together the new conceptual design as a floorplan (few elevations) for initial approval. Then, additional "tweaks" with elevations as needed will be completed. Conceptual drawing will be used for pricing by our firm (and our trade partners). Will present limited ray-trace renderings to "wow" the client and provide a clear vision for the project. After reviewing the conceptual plans and pricing, and once we enter into a construction agreement, construction plans will be produced for permitting and construction. Hope to hear from you soon!
