Thank you for the quick advice!
Tried both of your suggestions:
1) I added a 3/8" jamb as you suggested and it worked perfectly! Rendered exactly how I wanted it too. However there needs to be a niche in the wall return that's now the jamb, and Chief won't let you put an opening through door jambs materials. I did try also making the 'Side Jamb' dimension 0" just to see if it would delete the side jambs entirely but it does not. They are converted to faces without dimension and you still can't insert an opening into them. So that was super close and almost worked, thank you!
2) I have tried a ton of materials thing that it may be an issue with how that one is set up but they all do the same thing, even wood finishes.
So I'm basically still trying to figure out if its something with my settings/defaults or if its just a limitation to the program. Could someone try making a 3D Solid with an arched bottom like my attached picture and seeing if your computer does the same thing? That would at least tell me its somewhere on my end and I could stop trying to come up with a solution when there is none.
Thanks All!
