  1. The break certainly will force it. Ideally the auto systems would kick in to lap the members.
  2. Sorry about the file, I dont know where X17 stores its project files when they are made. As for the I-joists, I worry they will get too expensive, the span is nearly 40'.
  3. Hello everyone, I am really new to Chief Architect and am attempting to design a house with a large single slope roof (a shed roof). I am trying to get the program to spit the rafters on bearing elements, such as walls and beams. No matter what I try I can not get it to work. I have verified this issue in a minimal example. I have 4 walls. The sides are full gable, the back is a high shed. The wall are also set to balloon through ceiling above with flat ceiling unchecked to open the space all the way to the top. I have attempted to put a bearing beam, bearing wall and bearing line in the attic level to no result. Any idea on what the issue is? Is this an unsupported scenario? Thank you for any help!
