Hi Everyone, I am in need of a little bit of help. So overview I have trying to create a custom foundation wall type that I use regularly with in my house designs. I've created a CAD detail for this foundation type but now I'm trying to implement it into my models as I draw so when I go to do sections and place my floor joist it works and functions the same way as my detail does. I have attached image of the detail I created along with the foundation wall type I'm trying to create. Is there a way to select the 2x4 knee wall that the joist is suppose to sit on and have it be lower to the ground/footing so the T.O. my joist sits flush with the sill plate that is on the concrete foundation? At this point in time i can change the height and it changes both layers of the wall type to be the same height but Id love to separate it and give the 2x4 layer a restriction/limiter that tells it to be 11 3/4" lower than the T.O. of the foundation wall. I know i could put in my foundation and then go back through my plan and draw the 2x4 wall lower than the T.O. of the foundation but that takes extra time and if there is a way to create it so it works that would be amazing.
