  1. I am attempting to place an attic scuttle or access ladder in the ceiling of a room. I get Warning 272009057: A floor or ceiling platform hole polyline is placed where the platform height changes, or where no platform exists. Move the hole so it is completely contained within a single platform. My guess is that the attic floor platform has not been created correctly, but that seems to be done automagically by CA. Can anyone suggest how to troubleshoot this message? Thanks. I cannot upload the plan file because it is too large.
  2. Thanks again to all. I got this figured out. Lowering the terrain 30" was the solution. The obstacle I discovered was an invisible room I had put at the entrance to the three garages. I placed the invisible room to get a shed roof over the garage entrances. The invisible room got in the way of CA lowering the garage floor. Once I removed the invisible room. The garage floor dropped correctly.
  3. Thank you to all. Neither suggestion seems to achieve my desired goal: Garage floor at grade Stem wall 30" from grade to top 6" concrete slab from 24" to 30" inside stem wall Setting terrain to -30" did lower the terrain. Setting the garage floor to -30" did lower the garage floor. But The garage room did not drop with the floor So, the garage doors are 30" above the floor Thanks.
  4. I'm trying to create a raised slab foundation with a stem wall that is 30" above grade. So the top of the slap is 30" above grade. The garage should be at grade obviously. This should be easy, but I'm struggling. Thanks.
  5. Thank you to all for the help. I added a blank second floor and drew the interior walls within the available ceiling height.
  6. Good day. I have designed a one-story house with an 8/12 roof pitch. I want to add living space in the "attic" above the center of the house (where the roof pitch allows adequate floor-to-ceiling height. I cannot figure out how to add that second floor just where the roof height allows. Thanks.
