  1. Thank you SO much Mark! This worked perfectly. I have X17 as well, sorry will add to my signature. I appreciate the help!!!!
  2. Don't judge lol, I'm new and I only use chief so far for visuals, not for technical drawings, installation, etc. so we don't draw the whole house, floors etc. Hope to get there eventually! Rendering Plan.zip
  3. Thank you for the suggestions! I've tried them all but man I am really struggling! I am a fairly new chief user and the sloped ceilings are really challenging for me. If I posted my plan file would anyone be willing to help me out and show me what I'm missing?
  4. I am working on a bathroom rendering that has a sloped shower in which the ceiling will be tiled. In order to create the slope, I used a ceiling plane. When I tile it, it tiles the whole plane instead of just the shower section. Is there a way to specify where you want the material, similar to wall/floor material region but on the ceiling? Pic for reference.
  5. Is there an easier trick to adding crown molding to a cabinet hood from a catalog? I have used the molding polylines in the past but find it tedious and it never quiet merges correctly with the cabinets on either side. Just wondering if I'm missing something, I've tried copying my moldings from a cabinet with the object dropper as well but that doesn't seem to work.
  6. Does anyone have any tips on how to make custom backsplash tiles? I'm trying to create this tile, I've used the screen capture tool but no matter how I capture it, the scale and sizing is off. I've tried modifying the textures, scale, offset etc. and I'm not having any luck.
  7. I just wanted to thank you again, that totally worked!!!!
  8. Thank you! I never thought to use wall niches. I will give that a try!
  9. Does anyone know how I could create this trim wall? I have tried using molding polylines, but having a difficult time doing the angled cuts and getting them evenly spaced. Any help or advice is appreciated! I have X17. Thank you!
