  1. Hi guys, I'm having problems with a manual bay window - it started using the auto bay window tool but I couldn't get it to work how I wanted, so I drew it in manually. The issue I have now is that there are gaps at the junction of the bay window and the main wall (see attached). I'm using a thinner wall type for the bay window to allow the window sizes I want but as far as I can see, this isn't the source of the problem. Anyone point a newbie in the right direction? Bill
  2. Thanks for your help everyone. As I suspected, there is more than one way to skin a cat will let you know how I get on!
  3. Hi all, I'm trying to reproduce what we call in the UK a 'dogtooth' brick detail - don't know if that's what you would call it across the pond? There's nothing in the 3D library that looks similar, can anyone suggest where I might be able to find such a detail, or how I could possibly create something that looks close enough to be passable? Thanks Bill (attachments)
  4. Thanks Solver, I wondered if there was a way using the auto dormers but I'll give that a try. Much appreciated!
  5. Hi all, This is probably a really easy fix for some of you experienced guys, I have tried to search the forum to find something similar to answer my question but I'm not really sure what this kind of dormer detail is called so it's been tricky! I've attached an image of what I want to achieve, basically it's a dormer but one that sits below the line of the roof. I've been trying different things all day and watching videos but have had no joy getting it right. Can anyone suggest how I can recreate this detail in Chief? Thanks Bill
