I couple of minutes later, after messing with the settings, I realized that the font was a faulty one. The font I was using was the sans seriff collection. Thank you for your input

So I decided to change the default font settings in chiefarchitect from the default font to sans seriff, but now it seems that al the texts are misaligned. 

I fixed the post and added the plan, if that helps.

I’m learning to use chiefarchitect for the first time ever and have been having a problem. In one room (sun room) I have a vaulted ceiling and in the room adjacent to it I have a screened porch with a shed roof. I want to keep the sun rooms ceiling untouched and fix the protruding eave. Here is a picture of the sun room and the screened porch that the sun rooms rafters stick into.
