Is there a Chief Architect solution for that?

Hey all, I need to cut an octagonal shape out of a wall to create a pass-through but the shape is causing some issues. I tried editing two pass-throughs with an opening but it didn't clean up. So now I've created a polyline in hopes that I can subtract that shape from the wall. It's the grey object below. I'm also really new to Chief Architect. . Thank you!
