@Renerabbitt Wow! Thank you so much for this custom made video to help me solve my problem. I really appreciate the time it took you to help me. That's what I love about this Chief community. This is exactly the solution I was looking for and just didn't realize those checkboxes would do it. And thanks for the tips on walkout basements. The file I uploaded to this thread was a simple sample plan just for demonstration purposes, but you make some good points about the walkout basement being floor 1. I do plenty of walkout basements so I'll have to try that next time.

@Michael_Gia, this video is helpful, but I don't have any trouble getting this to work properly when the joists are bearing on top of the foundation. This video only addresses that situation. I only have this issue when I set this up to have the trusses hanging inside the foundation. @Renerabbitt, I'd still love to hear how you managed to accomplish this above.

Renerabbitt, this is exactly what I'm trying to achieve but I'm not sure how you accomplished this. What do you mean I can "get to this automatically"?

CharlesVolz, thank you for the reply and the suggestion! Though this works to eliminate the gap, It now causes the brick to be "hanging" outside of the foundation wall and I don't think it's correct structurally now, right? Do I not want the brick to be sitting on top of the stem wall on a "brick ledge"? That's what I can't figure out how to do.

I'm relatively new to Chief and I can't seem to figure this one out. I want to hang a floor truss inside my foundation wall, with a furred wall below for a finished basement space. I also want my exterior walls on the main floor to be brick. I'm having a problem where there is a gap between the brick and the top of the stem wall and the sill plate is visible. When looking in cross-section, it appears as though the subfloor is extending beyond the the stud layer of my wall and sitting under the brick, thus preventing it from sitting all the Way down on the stem wall top. I know that I need to have the brick sit on top of the foundation and nothing I do in the wall definitions fix this problem. I've tried all kinds of things. What might I be missing? I'm running version X16 premier on a Mac. I've also attached a simplified file that demonstrates this problem. BrickGapTest.plan
