  1. For multiple users to be able to work on files in the cloud (not at the same time) without significant delays or lock-up issues. We have users in multiple locations. It appears DropBox might be a better solution for us than OneDrive. I will have to investigate those. Thanks again for all the help.
  2. Thank you all! This is the info I need to research a solution away from OneDrive but still cloud-based.
  3. First off, please forgive me if this has already been suggested as I am a new Chief user, but have been using AutoCAD since 1988. I would like to see an additional stretch plan added to be able to stretch columns or other objects such as the one in the attached image. Selecting 2 stretch areas is great, but for this example (which we use often) the 3rd seems to have no function. Adding a 4th would allow stretching between two different areas of the object while keeping the other area intact. Let me know if I need to provide more detailed info.
  4. We recently started using OneDrive to store and share client files. Since then, we have been experiencing Chief "locking up" with the spinning blue circle of death while working on these plans/layouts. We weren't having this issue prior. If we only work on local projects it does not happen. Working in the cloud it happens every hour or so, and if we are idle for too long (like going to lunch) we return to the program locked up. The only way we can close the program is to End Task. Not awesome. Does anyone use OneDrive and have a solution or workaround to this? Chief tech support says that they do not support using files on a network or the cloud... there has to be a way. All drivers up to date.
  5. I read that Chief does not recommend storing MFR libraries on a network location, or working on files that are saved on a network. Is this accurate? If so, what type of issues could doing this cause? We have multiple users who need access to the same libraries (MFR & User) as well as the drawing files.
  6. Is there a setting to only have the return created on the right or left instead of both? Or would I have to create one manually?
  7. Thanks all! There was a 2nd hidden window schedule. Deleted them both and recreated and presto!
  8. Hello. VERY new to Chief (3 weeks at the time of this post) and I couldn't find this answer by searching this site and others, or in the Help file. Issue #1: When I create a window schedule, I get the desired results. All 3050SH windows are grouped with the number "W01". BUT... My plan view shows each individual window with a different "W0#" I would like all the identical windows on my plan to show the same callout. See below. Issue #2: Related to the above I am sure... My schedule calls out "W02" as a 3050FX which is correct, but the plan has a callout of "W03". How can I get my schedule and plan callouts to align? Thank you in advance for your patience with this new guy.
