I'm using CA 16 and trying to figure out how to adjust this door. I have pictured the Clopay door that I downloaded from the CA library as well as the Clopay door I copied from their brochure. My garage door is 16' x 9' so according to the brochure it should have 8 windows/raised panels but I can't get the CA door to match. Am I missing something simple or do I have to create a custom door?

I honestly don't have a clue what has happened to my foundation and floor levels but something it's right. If you pull up the right elevation and look at the story pole dimensions they are all out of whack. The porches and garage needs to be 4" lower than the house and everything should be on a slab foundation with 48" stemwalls. There should also be 4" of concrete showing above the terrain. This was one of my first jobs that someone else started and a lot of things have gotten changed since I first started working on it and I've clearly messed up something along the way and I don't know how to fix it. Could someone please tell me what is wrong with this and how to fix it please? Cottage -- Current Working Plan 12-5-24.zip

Ok I'm still not getting this right.... is there a step by step guide or video that might help me? I'm relatively new to CA and I'm the only one in my company that even knows how to open the software so I'm left to the internet for advice.

I work for a company so buying macros would be decided by someone else. I've tried doing the poly lines and custom schedules but I'm not sure how to put those polylines into a schedule with the name "first floor" and the Sq ft.

I feel really dumb asking this but I'm getting frustrated. I need to include a square foot schedule in my drawings. Something that essentially looks like the following. I know how to make a custom schedule that is similar but breaks it down by room but I just need each floor. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. Using Chief Architect 16 Square Foot Table 1st Floor 1523 2nd Floor 983 Garage 739 Porch 256 Total 3501

I'm using the "molding line" under corner boards in CA x16 I have several boards like the below picture that I'll be adding but they automatically come in as 1" x 1". Is there any way to change the default molding for this?

I am brand new (like day 6) to Chief Architect for a brand new job and they are having me work on somethin that I've been working on for days and still no closer to figuring it out. I have a couple of things going on here. First, the fireplace is set at 71.2 degrees so that's been tricky to place things. Second, there's a vaulted ceiling area that the fireplace sticks out about a foot into that area but they want the wall capped at 9' and not going all the way to the ceiling so if you look closely there's something weird going on with the ceiling not "closing" properly. And then finally, my biggest headache.... you can see the top of a cabinet up by the ceiling but it's actually a Tv cabinet with an open space below the door above but every time I try to do the passthrough window like I did for the fireplace it won't let me make it wide enough. So I'm not really sure how to make both things work in this wall. Please, help a newbie out.
