UL Listing
I must show a UL listed beam and columns fire protection and I cannot find a UL listed detail for a two story brick building with interior wood framing. Columns (3) 2X4 studs and beams (3) 2x12, no structural issues just the fire rating. Location: Chicago
I was advised to establish the fire rating by calculations 14B-7-722.6, subdivision 722.6 and follow the table 722.6.2(1). I can follow and generate a detail with the specific requirements, but there is no UL? Any advice, how to proceed?
