I'm looking for a structural engineer to review my plans for a small, one and a half story cabin, created in CA X14. The project is in North Carolina, but the plans don't need to be stamped.
Specifically, I need someone to:
1. Calculate size of roof beam for attic bedroom.
2. Advise on beam sizing for plank and beam floor under attic bedroom.
3. Provide suggestions on improvements to framing plan for cost or efficiency.
