Hello everyone. I would like to start off by saying that I have watched the videos on Youtube, searched the forum, and yet am having trouble still... I do not wish to simply waste folks time.
My issue is that I am trying to build a dormer over existing interior walls. Nothing I do seems to work and I am hoping someone would assist. The image below shows the front elevation of the project. I am trying to align the side, exterior walls of the dormer with the bedroom walls on the second floor to create an Open to Below space. Any pointers or tips? I keep getting conflicts.
All roof overhangs are 30", 7/12 pitch. I've attached images of the first floor and second floor. I would like the front exterior wall of the dormer to align with the exterior wall below.
