Any updates or fixes on this? I think my question is redundant, as I updated from X15 to X16 last week, and have had the same issue on every single plan. I don't want to move my X15 dimensions slightly off center to avoid this, nor move them in X16, nor add a leader line, nor have my dimensions located on the dimension line. Another annoying issue I've run into is that as I've spent countless hours revising all of my X16 files that were mostly completed in X15, to show the smaller dimensions more in line with a typical dimension, even if I set the dimension text to transparent, which I only like to do for certain dimension styles, it still doesn't fix the problem as the text becomes transparent in relation to literally everything else in the plan, but still covers the dimension line it's above, causing me to have to manually draw a line that matches the properties of my dimension layer to show the smaller dimension at the same level as the others without the text covering the dimension line, even when the text style is set to transparent. I wholeheartedly regret updating and was on the fence, and wish I hadn't. The fact that a Chief staff member acknowledged this problem close to a year and a half ago, stating they'd look into this and provide an updated X16 version with a solution as soon as possible, is also ridiculous, given that there's been no response from them since, no fix, and it's been close to a year and a half. This is extremely frustrating and has caused so much extra work on the 40 projects I have on the go right now. I have little hope based on Chief's latest response a year and a half ago to fix the problem, but would hope that this issue is resolved in X17 or an updated version of X16 as the workarounds for it are very time consuming, or my alternative is to change my standard of drawing I've used for years that all of my clients are used to, which is the last thing I want to do as that is also extremely time consuming. To say I'm disappointed with Chief is an understatement. What's the point of making the comment of looking into it right away and then leaving everyone in the dark for a year and a half, as numerous people continue to complain about this issue and reiterate the issue? Awful customer service, and I have experience in coding as well, and this is just lazy. Change it back to how it was, or give the option. For the number of people paying yearly subscriptions, it's beyond ridiculous for this to still be unsolved and ignored over a year and a half. Disappointed is the nicest way to express how I'm feeling with this service. Awful customer service and downright laziness. Be better than this please.
