Thank you all so much! I'm sorry I didn't indicate - previously I had a since-removed product (CA Home Designer Essentials 2018) which served my needs, mostly, for the time when I was doing interiors but the demand for interior/exterior, structural, etc. has increased so I recently upgraded to X15- which is amazing in it's capabilities obviously, but it's like jumping directly into the deep end of a pool out of a baby pool. I'm sure I will have more difficult questions going forward - even I knew this should've been an easy fix but didn't know where to look. This screen shot of where to change the defaults did the trick and I'm appreciative to you all, thank you so much!

Working in X15 - much more advanced product from the CA product I've been using for years. I'm coming up against an issue with dimensions, and there's got to be an easy way to address it, but it is eluding me, and I've spent too much time trying to figure it out, so I'm hoping someone can assist. In each of my floorplans that I've brought in, it keeps making funky dimensions for walls, rooms, etc. rather than the whole measurements I originally built them as. Example - room length reading as 4'0 3/8" rather than just 4' for an interior measurement on a small closet. I figure there's got to be a simple fix, to either adjust each individual item or to default to full inch measurements? The program does this when building a new wall or structure at the start, but inevitably changes to the funky measurements soon after. I've never struggled with such a seemingly easy task before and can't find anyone with this issue in the Q & A's. Thank you in advance for your help - and I apologize if this is a ridiculously easy fix. Thank you! Liz
