  1. OMG!!! That worked!!! Thank you! I did "reframe" the deck (using the icon at the bottom of the page) after each time I lowered it in the dialog box but to no avail. It worked when I toggled on Auto Regenerate. Interesting. Also, thanks for the redirect to use the HomeTalk Forum. But I got my answer from you! Thanks again, Linda
  2. Hello all! I am drawing a multi-level deck for a contractor and am trying to lower one of these decks. However, when I lower the "floor" in the dialog box the system lowers the handrail, NOT the deck. It sinks the handrail into the deck planks. Any clues or thoughts on how to fix this? I'm using Home Designer Pro 2025 and work on an MSI laptop. Thanks in Advance!! Linda
  3. Just in case you need another option, this is what I do: select an existing plank from the main deck and Copy Paste that plank, rotate and resize the length and necessary Place it 0n the deck but raise it just about .5" so that it shows a tad (by creating a shadow) in the perspective view Open the Breaker Board and "Fill" it with a solid color of your choice. I don't bother to "split/break" the main planks - too time consuming. This gives the contractor the main idea. Hope this helps even though it's quite a bit after your original post. Linda
