  1. Thank you to everyone for taking the time to respond. I found that AmanChahal's solution worked best for my case; it seems I was on the right track, I just needed to remove the roughness map to achieve the mirror effect "correctly". I'm using the X13 because it's the most compatible version for my Macbook Pro M1. I tried X16, but unfortunately, it doesn't work well with this generation of Apple Silicon, concerning the rendering. Thanks Rich_Winsor for your solution, but X13 doesn't have the 3D solid Specification tab for the Polyline 3D. I did try it on X16, and it's a great solution; it possibly looks the best. And thank you, scottharris. I tried to use the Material Generation but couldn't find the diamond shape in mirror material. Maybe I still need to learn how to use the Substance Player properly. Thanks again to everyone.
  2. Hi everyone! This is my first time posting on ChiefTalk. I have a project where a client wants to have a diamond-shaped mirror tile on a wall. (I'm attaching photos and the Pinterest link) Is it possible to create something like this in Chief? I've tried creating a new material based on the "White-Pink-Tile" tile from the core material and "painting" the tile with mirror material, or directly applying the mirror material to the tile. However, when I do this, the material is applied ignoring the diamond shape, and is applied to the whole wall instead (I'm attaching images). The closest I've been able to achieve is setting the material properties to 0%, but when rendering, it looks more like metal than a mirror. Any suggestions on what I could do?
