Hi - wondering if anyone has any idea why my rafters on one side are auto generating this cut and not sitting on the carriers? The other side seems to be working just fine.

What does a cross section look like? Did you change the roof plane?

Well, we could start by not being sarcastic to others who don't have the same knowledge as you.  I used auto roof then move a couple (not shown in this CS). The ones shown are auto generated.

Hi - Anyone have any idea why the top of plate is locked and why the roof structure does not touch the top of the plate?

Hi - I'm running into many issues with CA but a more annoying one is when I have a layout complete and go to Save as PDF the program freezes and will not export. At this point I have to open task manager to shut the program down and retry. It often takes 9/10 attempts to get it saved.

I've tried at 300 DPI, 600 etc to no avail. 

Any tips?

I have been concerned about upgrading to a desktop with a top tier GPU to no avail since others with 3080 cards are still experiencing issues. Even though I know my 16GB laptop w/Nvidia T1000 is way underpowered. 

 

On the Camera panel of the Camera Defaults dialog that opens, make the following changes:
 

• Remove the check next to Show Shadows.
• Remove the check next to Reflections.
• Remove the check next to Bloom.
• Remove the check next to Edge Smoothing when Idle.
• Set Ambient Occlusion to 0%.

This seemed to do the trick. Thank you!

Pretty disappointing that a laptop with the recommended specs can't run the program right.

Recently purchased a new (to me) laptop and having issued when looking at camera views. Program will give me the above error and close down.

RenderingPipeline.cpp(186): Error #272032750

"An internal rendering error has occurred and the program will terminate: Device Removed"

Anyone having this issue in X14? I'm getting this more often that I would have hoped with my new laptop.

Total newbie question. I'm following the "Designing a Traditional Pole Barn Structure" (https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-01069/designing-a-traditional-pole-barn-structure.html#defaults) and it calls modify the 1/4" Scale Dimension Defaults. Maybe a simple fix but I don't have a 1/4" Scale Dimension Default...
