Monkeying with the subfascia helped mask it. thank you.

Reducing to 4" didn't work for me. I increased from 7 1/4" to 10" and it at least hid the shapes on the left side, but they are still hanging much lower than this on the right side. (Duplicating left roof to replace the right roof still had same issue so it's something in a wall or something and not the roof). Not sure what else to try?

Thanks for your reply. Could you advise how I would determine if that was the issue?

Hi all. Can't figure out what I've done for my roof overhangs to have these unconnected shapes that look like lowered soffits just floating in air. (it is not happening on the right side bump out with separate roof line). Would appreciate any insights. thanks, David

Trouble dimensioning to countertop edge
DavidInMaine replied to DavidInMaine's topic in General Q & A
thank you, End To End sort of works when I check the box for Countertops only and uncheck all else. It's not 100% consistent yet but step in the right direction. Thanks to all. David -
In Kitchen & Bath Plan View using Point To Point for measuring and dimensioning I can't get cursor to locate countertop edge, it always goes right to the cabinet face edge instead. I tried checking boxes under Default Settings / Dimensions / Dimensions / Kitchen & Bath Dimension Defaults / Edit /and then for all of these: • Locate Manual • Locate End to End • Locate Interior • Locate Auto Room / Inner Dimension finding Locate Countertop checkbox under all of these and checking the box. None of these are helping. Help appreciated, thanks, David

yes a window seat. No way to override this?

Hi, I simply want a cabinet's countertop to overhang 2" on the right side without drawing a custom countertop. In Base Cabinet Specifications I uncheck the box next to Uniform and put 2" to the right, but it does not extend 2". See screenshot.

Framing Won't Extend Up to Vaulted Ceiling
DavidInMaine replied to DavidInMaine's topic in General Q & A
Balloon Through Ceiling Above did not work (a section of framing extended down into the window). But turning on Auto Rebuild Wall Framing with help from this link did the trick: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00335/troubleshooting-wall-framing-issues.html Thanks for your prompt replies. -
Hi, I have an interior wall with a transom window. In 3D view the wall appears to extend up to the vaulted ceiling correctly. In framing view the wall stops midway up the window instead of showing framing up to the ceiling. It is a bathroom that for awhile I had checked "Flat Ceiling Over This Room" (intended for the interior bathroom ceiling only) but unchecked it to try and show framing up to ceiling which isn't working.
