  1. I've searched over all materials in the library and in bonus libraries unable to find a wall material that alternates between skinny and wide planks. The closest material I can find is the "Board and Batten" siding which has fixed skinny battens and wide boards. I know about sizing the image but what I'd really like to find is a material that I can control for both plank sizes--say, 4" & 8", or 3" & 6", or 2" & 7", etc. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks, Tony.

When you zoom in there's a couple of control points. The smaller one in the center allows you to relocate the label.

Hi Tony, just curious how you offset the window labels from the window itself? For me the labels always appear on top of the window?

    Thanks!

  3. I'd have to agree with you. I was creating a lot of notations in the layout which were over the plan view portal. I may have bumped it and brought it back without thinking anything of it. I was also duplicating the sheet multiple times with all this plan view data. All of a sudden, the disappearing act began.

I'll keep a mental note of this.

    Thanks to all!

  4. Using X13.

So, I see the topic "disappearing text arrows" but this has nothing to do with exploding blocks--it just happened to normal notations. All of a sudden, all text leaders on all sheets have disappeared. All layers in layout are visible. I turn on/off/on text layers--nothing happens. I save, exit, and re-open the file--they're still gone.

    Any suggestions?

  5. I've tried the suggestions yet discovered another way which is to not begin with breaking the wall into sections while in the plan view. Instead, start in the section/elevation view, select the wall, then within the subset of tools, break the wall into sections and stretch the control points from there. See the highlighted icon in the attached image.

  7. I'm trying to create an angled masonry edge/ledge for exterior stairway guardrails--not in plan view but elevation view. I know how to break the wall into three parts, then see it in elevation view to select a wall's control point and then stretch one that down so to establish the angled appearance. As soon as I release the control point, it reconnects with the other adjacent wall portions and creates one angled wall. Ugh! Please help!
