Thank you every one for the advice! I just started using X12 today. I upgraded from years of using Home Designer Pro. Because graphic cards, in Canada, are extremely expensive, I am using x12 allowing the 3d features to run on my computers

one of the main reasons I bought this program is to first draw a layer of the existing interior walls and a layer or many layers of design options for renovation on that same floor. all the while being able to see together how the renovations are different from the existing. Of course I can use the referance layer but I don't see a way to do alternate layouts of the same floor? HELP!!

In Chief Architect x12 I want to show alternate interior layouts for the same floor. Or show a drawing of the existng floor layout and another drawing of the proposed layout. So the owner can see on one screen how the new is changed from the existing.
