Hi Rene. I tried backing it up with the plan files only and it's still too large to upload. I've deleted as much from the file as possible. Is there a way to purge unused information?

Looking to the greater CA community for help. I have read the posts about retaining walls and terrain spiking, which mine was, so I changed the wall to a foundation wall not a retaining and added a terrain break but I still must be doing something wrong. The terrain needs to slope from -8 at the parking lot to -146. I have deleted everything from the drawing except what I need to show so it's going to look weird when you pull up a camera view. I have attached the plan (CA Pro X15) and an image of the problem. Thanks in advance for any help!

I have never been able to get vanity lights to look light actual lights. This is a perfect example. The bulb material is White Lighting. I have tried every level of lumens and if I go too bright it washes out the glass. If I go too low, it doesn't show at all. I also have lights set at each bulb at 200 lumens but they don't show up as individual lights in the bulbs. How do you do it??

I have attached a photo. It is a horrible rendering because of the lighting. I use PBR renders. FYI, I have turned off the back walls of the room so I can see the room.

I am using CA Pro X15. I have attached the pic and the plan. Help!

I read a post a while back about someone who created a block of a whole building to drop it into another plan. I need to do that and was wondering how that is done. I tried 'selecting all' in both plan view and 3D camera mode and nothing happens. Has anyone does this before?

Standard blue sky backdrop. Tried changing and still happens. I tried changing sun direction and tilt direction. No changes.

Can anyone explain why light from the outside is coming through the tops of the walls in my interior renderings? Sun is set to 250. PBR ambient set to 250. All roof layers are on. This happens to me quite often so would love to solve. Using CA Pro X15.

I bought a new laptop when I started using CA 2 years ago and got a gaming computer with an NVIDIA 3050 video card. I was thinking of now upgrading to one with a 4080 to speed up my renderings. I would love some feedback on whether this will make a significant difference in speed before I shell out $2500. Thanks!

I am using Premier X15. When I export a plan to Autocad, the dimensions come in wrong. They come in on the dimension line not above it. I have tried editing the dimension style and updating the dimensions in Autocad but it doesn't change them. I have to manually move each dimension. Has any else had this happen or know how to solve this issue?

Scott recently did a webinar and he used this cover sheet showing a bath project. This may seem silly, but I want to show my finish samples the way he did but I can't figure out he showed them at an angle. Any suggestions? I attached a pic of the sheet.

I download 3D files from appliance websites, import them into Sketch Up and then import the .skp file into CA Pro (V15). Some of the appliances are meant to be inserted into cabinets. It never works. I think I have the CA settings right (but would love confirmation)  but where does the insertion point need to be on the SU model for it to insert properly? Any help is appreciated?

Has anyone else noticed a difference in the time it takes to export to a .jpg in version 15 Pro? v14 usually took around 5 mins. v15 seems to be taking twice as long. I typically export at 200 pixel quality for my renders. I tried reducing to 72 but the image comes out blurry. Also, does anyone know if there is a hardware upgrade I can do to make this whole process faster? Is it the graphics card, the memory or what that controls this?

Help! I watched every video on how to make dormers and I am trying to make just the simplest of dormers and my side walls are not connecting. I created this one manually using the roof hole and separate roof plane. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated. using CA Pro X13. barn plan.plan
