  1. Seeking 3D Rendering & Visualization Assistance Hello. I am looking for a skilled 3D rendering professional to help create high-quality images and videos from my designs. My floor plans, elevations and 3D views are modelled in Chief Architect, and I need polished, photorealistic renderings and short video walkthroughs (inside and outside) for social media marketing. Candidate is not expected to work on building design but is free to explore or suggest materials, finishes, furniture etc. To get an idea of the 3D visuals I currently have and what model types you will receive that needs to be refined, kindly visit www.instagram.com/designsbypolarisarch . Ideal Candidate: Experience with Chief Architect or the ability to import and refine its models. Proven track record in producing high-quality 3D renderings and animations. Cost-effective and efficient, able to deliver results within a reasonable timeline. Easy to collaborate with, open to feedback and revisions as needed. Current & Future Workload: Immediate Need: 2-4 projects requiring rendering and visualization in coming 4-6 weeks. Upcoming Work: 5-10 more projects expected within the next 2-4 months. Proposal & Selection Process: Send a brief message outlining your experience, portfolio samples, and pricing structure to designs@polarisarch.com. I will review all proposals based on quality, experience, cost and efficiency. Please provide your typical rates or an estimated cost range with your sample of images and videos for similar projects. Please include a brief description of your workflow, including the software and tools you use. If AI-assisted tools are part of your process, kindly specify how they are integrated into your work. Deadline for Proposals: Kindly submit your proposals by end of day Friday, Feb-14-2025. If you have the expertise to enhance my designs and create professional, high-quality renderings, please reach out. I appreciate all submissions and will respond to those that align best with my project requirements. Thank you.
  2. David, thank you very much. I went back to the same link (you are right, it was by Joe Carrick, aka Yoda) and was able to download. I do not understand why it did not work the first time. Anyhow, it works and is much helpful. There is one but I'd like to insert more pics with dogs and cats if anyone can point me in that direction.
  3. Hello! I am working on a 3d for Humane Society and wanted to show people, cats and dogs outside of the building. Although I do have the silhouette library but was wondering if something more realistic is available out there, either 3d or 2d. I came across attached post but files were 'unavailable' to be downloaded. I'd appreciate any suggestions. I am working on Chief Architect Premier X13.
  4. Thank you for the prompt response! Another way I just started working on is segregating Tables by Door types viz. Exterior in one table, Hinged in other, Doorway in the third and all Others in the last table. This way it will organize and help me checking my drawings and hopefully owner/ contractor while ordering. Thank you again!
  5. Hello! I am using Chief Premier X13. I need to create a door schedule and have many doors. I make my schedules on 'CAD Details' and then send them to Layouts. But since there are many doors, I need to break the table into two or three to fit on one 24"x36" sheet. I've been using crop in Layout Boxes but wanted to ask if there is a better way? The disadvantage of using layout boxes is that when I make changes on my schedule (height or width wise) and do not fix layout boxes, there is chance of getting it printed wrong or incomplete. On smaller projects, I have my schedules in a box and that box out line is shown on my layout sheets, that way I know nothing is being cut-off or left out when printed. I am thinking there should be an efficient way. Looks like BigFoot found the answer, not sure if it was from the videos (which do not show up now). Could Chopsaw please reload the vidoes or share a link? Thank you.
