  1. Hey All - I have an incredibly complicated house to work with that is built into the side of a hill and consists of one basement level, one attic level, and one main level that within it has three different levels. (Kitchen, dining, and living room on one level, entryway 21" higher than those, and bedrooms and baths 21" higher than those.) I've figured out how to make those levels work with two exceptions. First, I can't figure out how to make the roof work. Second (and more importantly), the kitchen has two different ceiling heights: one the main height and the other wide open to the roof, following the roof line in only one section. So hard to describe and even harder to draw. I've tried drawing gable walls and others and just can't make it work. Anyone have any ideas short of hiring an actual architect to draw these?
