Hi,
I have been looking around for hours to find a straight-forward and easy-enough answer for me to understand, but haven't found it still. Could anyone give me instructions on how to do a boxed out window / bay window manually? I can see, that even people that are quite experienced in construction/Chief Architect struggle with this. I understand that there is no point in using CA's automatic Box-Bay Window tools, if I want to higher the window up past the next floor level (in "open below") and use more separate windows.
Here's a rough example of what I'd like to achieve (with less and too low windows).
I wanted to link my plan also, but couldn't for some reason...
Thanks in advance!

Exactly.
You could also remove the 2nd floor above this room and make the first floor ceiling higher.
Will need to deal with the windows when using the bay window tool. From your image you probably do not want a single wide window, but rather multiple windows which cannot be done.
Thank You very much!

Don't use the Bay Window tool.
So You are suggesting that I do it manually?

Thank you! This is cool. Now, I can't seem to get rid of an excess wall coming from the doorway top. How would you do it?
