I am trying to put a door through the eave side of a gable roof with stairs and landing to the first floor. I would like it to be like a shed dormer but have no roof line below the wall. I have tried numerous things and watched many videos but cannot figure it out. Any Ideas, O'L Wise ones?

I have been using for three years and no problems until now. I did find the forum but no topics on the subject. However, I may have resolved the issue. I restarted my computer and it seems to be working now.

Just added a Signature.

I start drawing a wall and it seems to work at first but stops before I let go of the mouse button. Then it wont let me extend the wall length. Also I cant add another wall. Any Ideas?
