Hello, I am using Home Designer Pro 2019, I am building a 1 and 1/2 story home that has a number of difficult roof layouts. I am looking to hire an experienced HDP user to help me complete the roof and other HDP questions. I appreciate your assistance. Michael

When I highlighted the roof section I moved the red indicator. I am guessing this is the roof edge and not the base line. How do you access the base line settings?? M

The post and beam works perfectly, I can see it in the camera exactly as it should be. I used the auto draw for the roof and then turned it off and manually moved the roof to the beam, unfortunately I am still missing the setting to get the roof to actually sit on the new beam??? M

I had tried that earlier, I think I need to build a beam over the porch railing at the top plate level to put the roof on. As it sits, it tries to put the roof on the top of the railing. I unfortunately do not see how to build the beam over the railing??

Hello, I want to extend the front roof to include the front porch. I would appreciate any ideas or suggested tutorials to help me get started. Thanks, Michael
