  1. I got some plans for my house and it has the basic plans as far as walls, windows, doors, etc, but it's missing floors and ceilings. This obviously makes things rather disorienting. It is a 3 story home so the ceilings might be tricky, but is there a simple way to add a floor to the level? What he sent me only shows 1 level, but that's all I need right now since I'm trying to redesign the foyer. I obviously tried the "insert ceiling" and "insert floor" tool and that didn't work. It also has everything as one level and doesn't show the small staircase between the foyer and the rest of the house, but I can work on that later.
  2. With Chief Architect 8 If I have a certain kind of furniture and I want to swap into a different style is there an easy way to do it? For example, if I have a square coffee table and have it where I want it in the floor plan as well as the colors and I want to change it to a circular one, is there a way to change the type?
  3. Instead of having it as one room for changing floor height, walls, etc it created separate zones that all had to be handled separately. It also made it difficult to attach the different rooms together.
  4. I'm using Chief Architect Premier v8. As you can see from the pictures the entry way has multiple ceiling heights as well as stairs that go down from there into a hallway. When I tried to do this I created different rooms for each height, but that created problems down the road. What's the correct approach to a room like this? I'm thinking of starting from scratch and am only focused on doing the interior for figuring out how to furnish it.
