  1. Resolved. It was a matter of settings being corrected. Thank you!
  2. Thank you for your response. I did get it figured out...I do like the CAD lines idea though!
  3. I have a 40 x 90 x (16' sidewalls) building with an 18' x 40' office on the right/east side, in the building. The office will have a 4' pony wall with black brick exterior that is stick framed on the front. The rest of the office will be stick framed with siding (16' walls) to the foundation. The front (south) side of the building (remaining 72') will be 4' concrete pony wall with black brick and 12' siding above. The left (west) side will be a 4' cement pony wall with 12' siding above it. The back (north) side will be a 4' cement pony wall with 12' siding above. CA will not let me build the front wall with 72' of cement pony wall, then 18' framed wall all with 4' black brick below. I have tried building separate wall sections and changing materials. It also will not let me do the cement pony wall on three sides of the shop but brick only on the front. I changes the west and north to either have brick or takes the brick off the front. HELP! I'm currently using the latest CA version, same computer system. exterir.pdf Back_north.pdf
  4. On my building the south side (side with doors) will be 4' pony wall with brick, there will be a 2' return on the east side (right in photo). Zero return of brick on the west side. The west and north (back) sides will have a 4' cement pony wall while the east (right) side and 18' of the north side will be wood framed to the ground. The office is 18' x 40' and will be framed except for the front and 2' return on right (east) side. Soooo...CA is not letting me change the wall on the north which is stick framed, 18' wide x 16' tall siding and the rest of the wall (72') is 4' pony wall and 12' framed/siding. The picture is of the south wall and the east wall. 2' of the east wall is pony wall w/brick and the rest is framed and sided. There will be no brick on the west and back sides. CA either lets me put brick all around OR cement all around. Help? exterir.pdf
  5. Is there a quick / simple way to draw a hoop style building in CA? I am designing the interior for an out of state customer and they want a second floor so it would be helpful if I could draw the building in order to do 3D interiors. I will be drawing the building to assist with the foundation, end wall, lighting infrastructure and a future addition. Any suggestions are appreciated before I take the long way around the block. Thank you!
