I am using the X10 version. Maybe this is easier, on a dutch hip the gable extensions extend past the roof plane into the hip portion of the roof, they are not flush with the roof plane. There should be an option to trim the sub fascia with the roof plane. Even if i didn't need dimensions it still looks bad sticking into the roof 6".

I understand how to send views to the layout. I want to show each rafter so I can dimension each for our factory to make the cuts. Chief will break out each truss, how do you show each framing member?

How can I specify the size of the stringer? Just looking at the stair command it allows you to adjust the top of the stringer or bottom and thus changes the width of the stringer. Who frames like that!? I use 2X12 stringers and want to note that. Worst case I guess I can generate line work in my section view and change it manually.

I have framed a false dormer, no side walls, and don't understand why the rafters extend thru the roof plane. How do I trim the bottom of the rafter flush with the roof plane.

After I have framed a roof, not trusses, how do I show it in a layout. I need to show all the rafters, ridge poles, etc... for our factory to make all the cuts.
