I am so disappointed. Here we are in version 25, and it is still nearly impossible to get things right when having both footing & stemwall and monolithic foundations in the same building. Any tips ??

I did a plan for a good builder client a few years ago. It is his personal home. Now he has a client who wants him to build the same house with almost no changes. Question: how do I charge for the plans this time? Same as the original, only for the time it takes to make the changes and produce the plans, or somewhere in between?

Is there a way to get the program to build a framed floor over an existing garage slab - retrofit of garage space to habitable space - without changing the existing foundation configuration?

where do I find steel I beams in the program? I have searched, and can't find them.

How do you all design framing for covered deck? I am so tired of having to manually move every piece of framing when I have a roof over a deck. Automatic deck framing places the beam and supporting posts inset from the edge of the deck. Which is great if there is no roof above. But when a roof is over the deck, the posts supporting the roof need to be at the outside edge of the deck, not inset a foot. I manually move the beam and posts to the outside edge of the deck, and align the posts with the posts above. Very tedious. IS THERE A BETTER WAY?
