Thanks i just done that, its lowering the area but also the terrain wall. I want the terrain wall to be at one level from the top.

The stairs are from the floor below the attic, the floor is 9ft, thus that is the space between and stairs starting and the flatten roof

I have a flattened roof and the stairs leading to there are not creating a stairwell and the message i am being delivered is cannot create as can only be incase of a floor above and the roof is not a floor, how do i then open below area of the roof above stairs ?

I want to get the lower ground floor of the house to be fully open from the two sides, how do i lower terrain there ?
