I am trying to get the auto-dimensions to work in accordance with Australia standards, especially for floor plans i.e working from outside in on all four sides; overall dimension, wall direction changes, openings, internal room and wall dimensions. So far, my attempts have failed to get anywhere near that format. The alternative is to manually enter dimensions, which seems a shame. Is there anyone with any solutions that will help me get remotely close?

In Australia the door and window hinge symbol (a triangle) is the reverse of the US. In other words, in Australia, the intersection of the triangle shows the door opening side and the other side represents the hinges, In the US, that is the opposite. That means that all my cabinetry, doors and windows in elevation view, show the hinges on the opposite side to what is normal for Australia and therefore confuses tradesman and builders. Can this symbol, be changed?
