Residential Drafter – 1099
MOPO DESIGN studio, llc. is seeking a Residential Drafter experienced in Chief Architect X15 & 17 to assist with residential construction documents.
This is a 1099 contractor position focused on Drafting Only.
All Design & Drafting direction, Coordination, and Engineering concepts are provided. The role is to assist with drafting final construction drawings as directed.
Scope of Work:
Draft floor plans, elevations, and sections.
Assemble permit-ready residential plan sets
Apply notes, dimensions, and details per provided examples
Revise drawings based on redlines
Maintain consistent layers and annotation sets
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Chief Architect (X15 & X17)
Residential experience (Remodels & Additions)
Comfortable working from markups and redlines
Ability to closely match existing plan styles
Reliable communication and turnaround
Details:
1099 contractor
Part-time (~10 hours per week / on a Per-project Basis OR As-Needed)
Projects located in the Portland Metro Area (Oregon)
Open to out-of-state candidates (as long as good communication via email, phone and/or video calls are reliably maintained.)
$25–$40 per hour, based upon experience.
