Either use a half wall or use a cab, 4" deep at the bar heigth and put on a custom counter top.
Have a great weekend.Ken
Oh man, that was too easy! I just made it 48" tall and it's perfect.

I did a quick search and found nothing on this topic. How does one go about connecting the bar top height counter top to the standard height counter top?
Thanks,

I am doing an addition and the contractor want to just butt the new interior wall to the existing exterior wall. The issue I have in CA6 is the the interior wall auto-joins to the framing layer of the of the exterior wall. I"ve tried to edit the connection but still cant get it. Any ideas?
Thanks,,

well, I tried but none of the text comes with it. I guess this one will just be finished out with the old one.

I recently updated my standard drawing template and would like to update a few older drawings to the new one. Is there a way to do this?

LOL! I just realized there is an import/export wall definition tool.

Yup, that did it. Thanks!

I commonly draw them with railing walls set to "Post to Beam - no rails" but you are right in that there is more than one way to emulate them, just pick one and go for it is my advice. When printed no one will know or care "how" you did it.

That's what I did and just lowered the floor level to match the foundation wall. The breezeway was a different story though...lol

What is the best way to create carports? I have one connecting with a breezeway and have tried to create on the main level of the house and drop the floor level to match the foundation height. I also tried to draw it in the foundation but that didn't work out either. In the past I've used a polyline solid for the flooring and then manually added columns and wall made from solids. There has to be a better way.
I have searched the forum...didn't really find anything.
Thanks

I have a contractor that likes the face brick offset 1/2" from the bottom plate face on the vinyl siding houses he builds. He does this so when the OSB is attached it's pretty much flush with the brick and after the vinyl is installed it's nice and clean.
It seems like I used to know how to do this. Is there a simple way to automatically generate? This is an 8" cmu with a brick face.
Thanks,
