I have a contractor that likes the face brick offset 1/2" from the bottom plate face on the vinyl siding houses he builds. He does this so when the OSB is attached it's pretty much flush with the brick and after the vinyl is installed it's nice and clean. It seems like I used to know how to do this. Is there a simple way to automatically generate? This is an 8" cmu with a brick face. Thanks,

How in the world do I get the apron sinks to sit in the cabinet not on top?

Oh man, that was too easy! I just made it 48" tall and it's perfect.

I did a quick search and found nothing on this topic. How does one go about connecting the bar top height counter top to the standard height counter top? Thanks,

Like this?

I must be missing a simple setting but how in the world do i get the exterior surfaces of my foundation wall align with the exterior surface of my main floor brick wall?

I am doing an addition and the contractor want to just butt the new interior wall to the existing exterior wall. The issue I have in CA6 is the the interior wall auto-joins to the framing layer of the of the exterior wall. I"ve tried to edit the connection but still cant get it. Any ideas? Thanks,, JG

I recently updated my standard drawing template and would like to update a few older drawings to the new one. Is there a way to do this?

LOL! I just realized there is an import/export wall definition tool.

I've seen how to create this type using a pony wall but there has got to be an easier solution. Even my old CA10 had the foundation stem wall with brick ledge. Am i missing something? Thanks Everyone, JG

I have a client wanting a set of stairs similar to the attached picture. Is there not a way to create this easily in X6? I've tried the flair tool but that doesn't get me what i want. Any help is appreciated.

Yup, that did it. Thanks!

This is the first time printing with X6. When I sent an elevation to layout the brick in the foundation shows really faint and grey. What settings do adjust to get it to show on my prints? Thanks, JG

That's what I did and just lowered the floor level to match the foundation wall. The breezeway was a different story though...lol

What is the best way to create carports? I have one connecting with a breezeway and have tried to create on the main level of the house and drop the floor level to match the foundation height. I also tried to draw it in the foundation but that didn't work out either. In the past I've used a polyline solid for the flooring and then manually added columns and wall made from solids. There has to be a better way. I have searched the forum...didn't really find anything. Thanks
