Thank you Winsor, that fixed my problem.

I just recently installed X6 and one of the things I tried out first was the walkthrough. When I records the walkthrough, I can see it recording in Chief Architect and it looks great. However, when I try to play it back in WMP, all I get is a black screen. I have played other .avi files in WMP and they all work fine. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it. I want to be able to send walkthroughs to clients to help them visualize the project, but I don't want to send bad files that can't be played.

I apologize if this has been answered before, I couldn't find any answers through search. I manage a large office building and use CA 8.0 to do remodel designs, and it has been a huge help over the years. Unfortunately, my old computer stopped working and I had to upgrade to a new one with Windows 7, and my old parallel port hardware lock won't work with it; so now I'm looking at upgrading to X6. I've downloaded the demo and have been using my old plan files with it succesfully (yay). However, the demo doesn't allow you to save, and I wanted to know if I could open files saved in X6 with 8.0
