While using the "point to point" dimension tool, what am I doing wrong that my dimensions seem not in like with cabinet edges? 

Usually I have to do it about 4-7 times  to do it  where it looks  right. Very frustrating.

Why is Chief architect displaying  1/2" as 4/8"  and where can I change that if possible?

I'm having issues adjusting the height of an interior wall. Done it before using the cross section/elevation. But this time it's always the wall furthest back the one that gets selected. Even when it's not highlighted gray. On this picture you can see I have the wall I want to make it 45" height highlighted gray but it was the back outside wall where the door is the one that got adjusted. Am I doing something wrong that I forgot about?

I've spent about 2 hours trying to figure out how to add a refrigerator panel with a 3 inch return to my layout. Anyone out there knows the easiest way to do that? I need a regular tall end panel to the left of the frigde. I will attach a picture.
