okay, i couldn't do the manual roof but i was able to copy and paste the gable roof plane and that works! thanks for help! ad i learned how to post an image

On the second image... the right side needs to have pony wall with brick on bottom with a gable roof to match the left side.

On the firs image.... it needs to look just like the second image

yes, i am using automatic roofs.  I am fairly new to chief and haven't learned manual editing yet but I will sure give it a try

I need the one in Laura Place -A fixed. I posted the PDF of Laura Place -C. The Laura Place A is doing a totally different roof. I don't know whats going on.

I am having multiple issues with my roof. In the attachment Roof 1, I need to make a gable roof on the right side of the house, when I do this it creates an extra ridge on the two end gables as shown in attachment Roof 2. 

My next problem is I need to make the two end gable walls a pony wall with brick on bottom. When I do this it totally changes the roof line (attachment Roof 3)

Any ideas what going on. I am using CA Premier X9

Chris, I am on x9. Okay things just got stranger. When I went to save my drawing as a pdf to attach, my pdf looks just like yours. But my chief drawing looks like screen shot attached

that option is already checked. should the symbol automatically be $3 or do I need to manually add the 3 next to the light switch each time each time.

I tried both of those options. When I open up properties box shows it as a three way switch but on the drawing it is still showing as just the $ symbol without the 3 next to it. 

Most of my light switches are all the same symbols. I want my three way switches to show a 3 next to switch. Is there a way to turn it on or add it to the cad block or do you need to add it manually every time. My garbage disposal switch is the only switch that show up a label. Here is a sample drawing.

I tried to drag it and  would only move it. I posted question to soon I just found out how to hide it, maybe it will help someone else.  You can  turn marker text off and then drag line down and hide it. I selected the elevation marker then clicked on OPEN OBJECT edit button and on the EXTENSIONS/MARKERS panel of the Dimension Line Specification dialog, select the number of the extension in the drop down list and then uncheck the box draw elevation marker and then drag the marker line even with the grade elevation marker. Thanks for the quick response.

Hi, I am very new to CA. I am using story pole dimensions and have a question. 

Can the Elevation Marker labeled 0' be deleted, if so how?

My setting are:

GENERAL: (Position) Dimension Left & Right  (Options) Dimensions between Elevation Markers  - LOCATE OBJECTS: (Openings) Sides

If no options are selected under openings then this elevation marker goes away but I want to show the dimensions for window and door heights so I can't uncheck that box.
