Demo and new flooring are entire rooms but when I use a fill pattern in the room specification it works for the Demo hatching but not the new flooring hatching.

Doing a new remodel project and I would like to show a square grid in red on my Demolition plan noting that the tiles in this area to be removed. On my Floor -Finishes page I would like the fill to be wood plank showing the area and direction of the planking to be installed. Trying to define a fill for an Active Layer Set Control. Is there a way to do this? I could polyline solid but the solids seem to overlay on top of Door swings , Cabinets etc. Plus its a pain. Am I missing something?

We are a Contractor in SWFL and have a client who would like to build an elevated addition +/—2000 sf attached to his existing elevated house. The client would like to join the addition and add a matching cupola that contains a second floor for an office I have the plans for the existing house on PDF. See attached I can give clear instructions for the addition. I understand there in no engineering just trying to get the aesthetics correct to budget the project I do all the CA plans for our company but am in a time crunch and also roofs and ceilings are my weak point I do not need finishes, etc., just a blank floor and exterior completed, so I can take it from there. I have never done this so not sure what to expect for the pricing, time frame. Any help would be appreciated Single Family House Plans 1.pdf
